1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, requesting a quote, scheduling service, or accepting an estimate from Island Exterior Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or schedule services.

You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to approve work at the service property.

2. Quotes, Scope, and Scheduling

Website prices and descriptions are general offers or starting points unless we confirm otherwise in writing. Final pricing and scope may depend on property size, condition, accessibility, requested add-ons, water availability, safety considerations, and other job-specific factors.

A booking is confirmed only after we accept the requested date and scope. Weather, unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or events outside our reasonable control may require rescheduling. We will make reasonable efforts to provide notice.

3. Customer Responsibilities

Before service, you agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the property and work areas and to:

• Provide accurate information about the property and known problem areas.
• Ensure working exterior water access unless another arrangement is confirmed.
• Close and secure windows, doors, gates, vents, and other openings.
• Move or protect vehicles, furniture, decorations, electronics, fragile items, pets, and people from work areas.
• Identify delicate materials, loose fixtures, leaks, damaged surfaces, electrical hazards, security systems, and other conditions that could affect the work.
• Obtain any owner, landlord, association, or local approvals required for the service.

4. Property Conditions and Service Limitations

Exterior cleaning can reveal or worsen pre-existing deterioration, including loose paint, oxidation, failing seals, cracked surfaces, damaged mortar, aged siding, wood decay, leaks, and unsecured fixtures. We are not responsible for damage caused by undisclosed defects, normal wear, pre-existing conditions, or failure to complete the customer responsibilities above.

Results vary based on age, material, staining, prior treatments, and condition. Some discoloration, organic growth, rust, oil, efflorescence, or permanent staining may not be fully removable. We do not promise a like-new appearance unless stated in a written service agreement.

5. Changes, Cancellations, and Access

Changes to the requested scope may change the price or schedule and must be approved before additional work begins. Please provide reasonable notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. A cancellation or trip charge may apply if disclosed when booking, if access is unavailable, or if the property is not ready when we arrive.

We may pause or decline work when conditions are unsafe, unlawful, outside the agreed scope, or likely to cause unreasonable damage.

6. Payment

Payment is due according to the accepted estimate or invoice. Unless otherwise stated in writing, payment is due when service is completed. You agree to pay approved charges for the work performed, applicable taxes, and any disclosed fees.

If you believe there is a billing or service issue, contact us promptly so we have a reasonable opportunity to review and address it.

8. Website Use and Intellectual Property

The website and its text, branding, graphics, layout, photos, and other content are owned by Island Exterior Services or used with permission. You may use the website for personal, noncommercial purposes related to evaluating or purchasing our services.

You may not copy, scrape, republish, interfere with, reverse engineer, misuse, or attempt unauthorized access to the website or its systems. You may not submit false, unlawful, harmful, or infringing content through our forms.

9. Disclaimers

The website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties relating to the website, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Any warranty or service commitment for a particular job must be stated in the applicable written estimate, invoice, or service agreement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Island Exterior Services will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the website or services. Our total liability for a service claim will not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law and do not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in or serving Jefferson County, Kentucky, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

12. Changes and General Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with any accepted written estimate, invoice, or service agreement, form the agreement relating to the applicable website use or service.
